The Lady and the Monk


Dear Book Clubbers,

We are starting a new book: The Lady and the Monk, by Pico Iyer. Come and pick up your copy at the KIS office from Monday (1.200 yen each, please!).

Next Thursday (Feb.4th) we will wrap up The Makioka sisters and we will start talking about The Lady and the Monk. Let's read 50 pages from the new book.
